Sustainablity

At Shriram Cement Works, our Cement production is primarily a recycle and resource conservation initiative. At the Kota site, we are producing green cement through the utilization of Carbide sludge and fly ash. Green cement is a light weight concrete, where cement is replaced with 26-34% fly ash and 8-10% Carbide sludge in the concrete mix. The utilization of fly ash not only ensures its recyclability within our operations but also increases concrete strength, improves sulfate resistance, decreases permeability, reduces required water ratio and improves the workability of the concrete.
